The holdall issued to CWAC personell was identical to that issued to the rest of the Army. Contents were similar, ie: button sticks, toothbrush, fork and spoon etc., as well as other items added as the individual saw fit. These included polishing and buffing accessories. A piece of kit issued only to CWAC was a small bag containing clothes pegs and a string clothesline.
A canvas and leather handbag was issued to all CWAC for holding personal items. It measured 9 inches wide by 6 inches high, and had a leather strap. The illustrated example has had the shoulder strap shortened to create a hand bag.
